DO YOU HAZE?
NO; we oppose
hazing in any way, shape or form. DPhiE runs a meaningful, purposeful, goal-oriented New Member Education Program,
usually 6 weeks.
WHEN YOU JOIN, ARE YOU FORCED TO DRINK ALCOHOL? NO; most members are
social drinkers, some rarely drink while others don't touch a drop. We don't like the stereotype that Greeks only drink &
party. Rowan's DPhiE has a Sober Sister Program. Each week a Sister has a beeper & responds to calls from members
to be picked up from parties or when the Sister feels she can't get home safely.
MUST I GIVE UP MY
FRIENDS, FAMILY, BOYFRIEND, HOBBIES & JOB TO JOIN? NO; we respect your personal life & interests, as well
as your uniqueness. We encourage personal development & expression in any way, shape or form. We feel well rounded women
make great members. Our chapter motto says it best: You can be unique & still go Greek!
WILL MY
GRADES SUFFER? NO; we are the Rowan's #1 academically ranked sorority. We offer study buddies, scholarships, mentors
in your major and academic achievement recognition. Your grades will improve when you join DPhiE.
